What do I do when the trees arrive?
Keep the trees in a cool place until you are ready to unpack, bag, and distribute the trees to kids. Be sure the soil around the roots stay damp. If they are drying up, please spray the roots with water to keep them moist.
How should I distribute the trees?
Your trees will come with recycled paper bags with planting instructions on them. Please place 1 tree in 1 bag per child.
Sometimes deciduous trees appear to look like just a stick since they are still dormant. Kids may say “My tree is dead,” rest assured if the soil/roots are moist the tree is alive!
